of an Internet presence. Most of the sites I've worked on are
informational-based. While I believe there is a need for online sales
and storefronts for some businesses, there is an even greater need to help
the smaller businesses get the word out about themselves. Just as in
any marketing effort, there is no one golden egg. Having an Internet
presence will not guarantee your business sales. If you do not have
such a presence, when your potential customers are doing a search online for
your business and they don't find you, they will go to your competition.
